If you are about to come into some free time soon you might want to consider exploring the world. Most people like to backpack as soon as they graduate from high school or college in order to see the world before they enter the work force. We have compiled a list of the best places to visit when you are on your quest of exploration. Although these places are considered to be the most visited destinations in the world, your take on them will be vastly different as you will be able to visit the small spots that make the big tourist attractions special. The local restaurants and bars are comprised of some of the most eclectic and interesting people in the world. You will be doing your self an injustice to not fraternize with the locals.
The Louvre in Paris
One of the more popular destinations in France the Louvre is home to some of the most coveted treasures in the world. The building itself is a treasure to the country of France boasting over 30,000 artifacts from prehistory to the 21st century. Opening in 1793 as a place to showcase artwork the Louvre is a piece of history in its own right.
The Eiffel Tower
While in France make your way to the most popular land mark in the world. The Eiffel Tower. While the Eiffel tower is one of the more known destinations if you haven’t seen it you should take the time to visit as it is something you can check off of your list.
Now off to Rome to visit one of the most talked about and mentioned places in classical mythology. The Colosseum. Used for gladiator competitions the Colosseum could hold up to 85,000 spectators.
While there are hundreds of places to visit all over the world I have yet to see them all to make any other recommendations but as my travels continue I will update this list with other places I recommend for fun and interesting travels.
